Blackletter calligraphy template

Dense gothic blackletter on parchment — the script of proclamations, certificates and metal album covers.

Blackletter is built from repeated broad-nib strokes at a fixed pen angle, which is why it reads as a texture as much as a text. The preset holds that angle steady and keeps jitter low.

Parchment gives deep, saturated ink with minimal bleed, so the counters stay open instead of filling in.

Increase the point size for headings and drop it back for body text — blackletter is far more legible large.
